Scotia Sweets is a drive-thru bakeshop located in Schenectady, NY. We are looking for part-time team members with flexible availability to work weekday and weekend shifts. As a Bakerista, you’ll be at the heart of our drive-thru bakeshop, crafting fresh, delicious treats and beverages.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new techniques
- Prior experience in baking or food preparation is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights during shifts
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product consistency and quality
- Welcome and care for front-of-house and drive-thru guests
- Have a passion for and working knowledge of our menu and offerings
- Prep and bake various items
- Bag/box items
- Create coffee & tea beverages
- Operate point-of-sale register
- Keep a clean and organized workspace
Pay & Hours
- $17/hour plus tips (estimated $5-$10/hour)
- Availability Monday-Saturday. We are closed Sundays.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
