We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs and residential painting as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving electrical work or welding tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC repairs, arcade and go kart maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
