About the Position
The Inside Sales Sr. Manager is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving inside sales revenue growth, developing scalable sales processes, and leading a high-performing inside sales organization. This role goes beyond day-to-day team supervision to include sales strategy development, advanced forecasting, cross-functional leadership, and long-term capacity planning.
The Inside Sales Sr. Manager partners closely with executive leadership, field sales, marketing, operations, and customer service to optimize the end-to-end sales experience, expand key accounts, and support overall company growth objectives.
NOTE: This is an on-site position in Irvine, CA
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 8 years of progressive sales experience, with significant inside sales leadership responsibility.
- 5 years of experience managing and scaling sales teams and/or sales leaders.
- Proven success leading revenue growth, forecasting, and sales strategy execution.
- Strong executive presence with advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, team sports markets (schools, leagues, clubs, DTC), and product customization.
- Advanced CRM expertise (Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar systems strongly preferred.
- Highly analytical, strategically minded, and results-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at the executive level.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and people leadership skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-level inside sales organization.
- Establish a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
- Define role expectations, compensation alignment, capacity planning, and talent development paths.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing inside sales talent.
- Conduct executive-level performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own inside sales revenue strategy and execution aligned with company-wide growth initiatives.
- Partner with sales leadership to define annual sales targets, territory coverage, and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive pipeline health, deal velocity, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Oversee forecasting accuracy, quota planning, and revenue pacing.
- Support and lead strategic, high-value, and complex customer opportunities.
Key Account & Customer Experience Leadership
- Provide executive-level support for strategic and high-revenue accounts.
- Ensure a consistent, professional, and high-quality customer experience across all inside sales touchpoints.
- Lead escalation management and resolution for complex customer issues.
- Collaborate with marketing on demand generation, outbound campaigns, and account-based initiatives.
Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Management
- Establish best practices for CRM usage, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Develop dashboards and executive reporting on performance, trends, forecasting, and productivity.
- Drive process improvements across quoting, ordering, renewals, upselling, and follow-up workflows.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate delivery timelines and customer expectations.
Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration
- Act as a strategic liaison between inside sales, field sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product teams.
- Provide insights on customer behavior, market trends, pricing, and product demand.
- Contribute to executive planning, budgeting, and long-range sales strategy initiatives.

Base salary range is $100,000 - $125,000, depending on experience.
