Position Summary
Score Academy (Cognia accredited school) is hiring a Secondary English Teacher in our small classroom and one-on-one environment. Principal Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- One-on-one or small group instruction in English (Reading and Writing as separate subjects)
- Flexibility and adaptability to personalized instruction and/or small-group classes
- Serving as a mentor for students
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration, with demonstrable expereince in English Education.
- Confidence in the subject matter for all grade levels.
- Therapeutic experience/credentials are a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience with Specific Learning Disorders, students on the Autism Spectrum, and students with ADHD is a plus.
- An outgoing nature, organizational skills, competence on the computer, and enthusiasm for working in a remarkably energetic and fulfilling school setting.
