What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at SCOR and Careers?
The executive assistant will play a pivotal role in managing the schedule for the Head of P&C North America CEO, supporting the business teams, handling communications, and performing various administrative tasks, while ensuring the efficient operation of the New York office. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively while embracing SCORs Values around Care, Integrity, Courage, Open Minds, and Collaboration.
- Calendar Management: Scheduling appointments, prioritizing the most sensitive matters, and organizing meetings.
- Travel Coordination: Arranging travel and logistics, including expense reimbursement, while also monitoring travel policy compliance.
- Meeting/Event Organization: Ensure that any local events, including executive meetings, townhalls, client visits, New York office engagement activities, etc., are properly organized and executed, sending reminders and organizing catering when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on behalf of the executive.
Employee Engagement: Contributes to cultural and engagement initiatives to improve the overall employee experience i.e. New York office employee engagement, SCOR4Good, Diversity, Equity and Belonging, and/or Cultural Committees
- Back up Support: When needed, provide backup support to other Administrative Assistants
- Invoice Management: Reviews and processes vendor invoices submitted for approval and payment
- When needed, provide backup support to other Executive Assistants including but not limited to agenda management, meeting set up, trip organization, expense reports and other administrative tasks.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Associate degree or Professional Certification in office administration or executive assistance experience preferred
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous administrative experience, preferably supporting senior executives.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between them efficiently.
- Effective time management ensures that tasks are completed on time and deadlines are met.
- Strong commitment to collaboration and being able to work well in a team environment

Pay Range for roles performed in NY: $89,000-$108,500 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives.
