Scopely is looking for an Intern- Finance to join our Finance team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, reclasses, adjustments).
- Help ensure entries comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledger balances.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, etc.).
- Support the team during monthly and quarterly close cycles.
- Update reconciliation schedules and documentation files.
- Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and audit requests.
What We're Looking For:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, basic formulas).
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with accounting systems (Oracle) is a plus.
