The Opportunity:
This position is for a commercial real estate salesperson/broker. Our structure offers agents a unique conduit to the market. SCOPE’s focus is on the middle market, with primary clients being owners of assets ranging from $5M-$50M in value. Asset classes of focus are multifamily, industrial, retail, and medical office, with specific subsets within each.
Scope of Work:
- Procure new owner relationships
- Nurture and grow existing relationships
- Prepare and present financial analysis
- Act as a fiduciary in exclusive representation engagements
- Negotiate complex transactions
- Manage due diligence processes
- Act as a liaison between buyers, sellers, attorneys, appraisers, legal
- Provide market intelligence to market participants
- Receive coaching and best practice training
Job Requirements:
- Person will work within a primary asset type: i.e., Multifamily, Industrial, Retail, etc
- Demonstrate discipline in a high-level sales production role
- Be able to maintain and thrive in a commission-based role
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related
- Preferred: 2-5 years of work experience in real estate brokerage or related verticals
- Analytical, qualitative skills to manage critical deliverables including valuations, proposals, etc.
- Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor
- Time management skills, self-accountability, and a motivated mindset
- Computer proficiency specifically with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations
- A real estate license
- Understand the importance and ability to practice confidentiality and collaboration
