General Manager

Scooter’s Coffee –Mascoutah - Full Time or Part Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and people-focused General Manager to lead our Scooter’s Coffee team. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving store performance, developing team members, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining Scooter’s Coffee standards and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all daily store operations
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
• Create schedules and manage labor costs effectively
• Maintain high standards for customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and food safety
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and waste control
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly
• Analyze sales, productivity, and performance metrics to drive business growth
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture
• Open and close the store as needed

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in coffee, food service, retail, or hospitality preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
