Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces regularly
- Assist in food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and presentation meet company standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and maintain energy throughout shifts
