Public Relations Account Supervisor

Scooter Media is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Public Relations Account Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a communications professional who excels at leading client relationships, guiding project strategy, and fostering strong team collaboration.

As an Account Supervisor, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, overseeing day-to-day account work, shaping communications strategies, and ensuring exceptional delivery across every project. You’ll work closely with both clients and internal teams to bring ideas to life, solve challenges proactively, and drive meaningful results.

SKILLS
An Account Supervisor should be able to operate independently in a fast-paced agency environment and lead client accounts across a wide range of industries with little to no supervision.

The ideal candidate is:

• A strong relationship builder who thrives on client interaction
• Has five to seven years of professional PR, marketing experience
• Strategic and solutions-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to think proactively
• An excellent writer capable of developing high-level, technical, or specialized materials
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
• Adept at managing budgets, scopes of work, hours, and project workflows
• Well-versed in various public relations, social media, influencer content creation and/or other marketing tactics

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Services & Account Management

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for all assigned clients
• Independently lead accounts and projects with minimal supervision
• Manage client budgets, hours, scopes of work, and processes to ensure alignment with goals
• Develop proposals, renewals, and scopes of work based on client budgets and long-term objectives
• Ensure communication plans and deliverables are executed on time, on brand, and on strategy

Strategic Communications & Project Leadership

• Provide strategic counsel rooted in industry knowledge and best practices
• Oversee the development of high-level or specialized written public relations and marketing materials
• Lead execution of integrated communication deliverables, ensuring consistency and quality
• Contribute to renewal and expansion proposals with guidance from the VP of Client Services

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage junior team members, including quarterly performance reviews
• Identify and recommend professional development opportunities
• Foster a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages growth and accountability
• Lead team presentations, trainings, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions

Agency Representation & Administrative Duties

• Represent Scooter Media at networking events, conferences, and industry functions
• Participate in monthly invoicing and financial review processes
• Support cross-functional teams and perform additional duties as assigned
