Perks & Compensation:
- Earn up to $25 - $30/hr. Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by location/state, role, certification, school, and assignment.

- The role is non-exempt. Actual pay is hourly and based on hours worked
Role Requirements:
- Valid RBT Certification
- Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities
- At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs; OR
- At least 1 year year in a classroom /education setting
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits
- Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
- State & federal background checks
- A TB risk assessment or test (Depends on State)
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Any SpEd-specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience
- Passion for education and putting students first
- An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms
- Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
- Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)
- Follow direction from, and assist lead educators
- Comfortable working with medically fragile/high behavior situations
- Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
- Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
- Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process
