Join the SCOOP team and become a vital part of our company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a dynamic Team Member to contribute to our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through our delicious smoothies. This role will report directly to the Team Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES - 10 Steps for a Daily Routine as a Team Member
- Be punctual: Arrive on time for your shifts, ready to dive in and deliver your best. Responsible for maintaining accurate timekeeping records before each payroll cycle.
- Set up the store: Operate the electric, music, lighting, umbrella, chair, and other set-up to ensure the store aligns with SCOOP guidelines, providing a great customer experience.
- Master the menu: Know our products inside and out to impress customers with your knowledge; if you have questions, ask your supervisor.
- Exceptional Customer Experience: Greet customers warmly, creating a friendly environment and ensuring swift service that makes each customer feel valued.
- SCOOP products: Focus on preparing and selling smoothies, bars, beverages, snacks, etc. Level up: Suggest add-ons and specials to boost sales and encourage repeat customers. Ensure the highest quality and presentation for food and beverage items.
- Own your space: Keep it clean and organized to create a welcoming environment that customers love, and ensure proper food and equipment handling.
- Operate the register: Handle the card and/or cash register with care and integrity, ensuring every penny is accounted for.
- Sanitize regularly: Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Rock the look: Wear your SCOOP uniform with pride and represent our brand stylishly.
- Store Maintenance: Manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations. Receive and inspect orders from vendors to ensure accuracy and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and adhere to a fixed schedule for consistent attendance.
- Preferably has previous customer service or food service experience.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and comfortable working independently.
- Commits to consistent attendance based on SCOOP’s fixed schedule.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
- Passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle and SCOOP products.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on products, policies, and standards.
- Maintains high standards for food and beverage quality and presentation.
- Capable of working standing for extended periods and lifting weights as required.
- Able to use a cellphone for scheduling apps like 7Shifts for emails and text messages as needed.

Salary: $13.00/hour Supplemental Pay (Tips)

OVERTIME
All authorized and approved work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any one week shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at the overtime rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time rate of pay. All overtime must be approved and authorized prior to being worked.
