Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to manage countertop projects from initial order through final installation. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Vallejo, CA, requiring strong communication skills, scheduling expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all phases of countertop projects, including templating, fabrication, and installation
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and internal teams
Schedule field measurements, production timelines, and installation dates
Review project specifications, drawings, and material selections for accuracy
Track project progress and proactively address delays or issues
Communicate updates to clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain accurate job files, documentation, and order records
Assist with estimating support and change order processing as needed
Qualifications
2 years of project coordination or administrative experience is desirable (construction or countertop industry preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management or ERP software is a plus
Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings or measurements
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working in a team environment and coordinating across departments
