We are a transportation company in Fontana, Ca transporting goods for a major grocery chain.
We’re seeking a skilled Reefer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing refrigerated trailer units and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on reefer units (Thermo King, Carrier, etc.)
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance services
- Maintain accurate repair records and work reports
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety and company standards
Pay: ***Pay is negotiable based on Experience***
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a reefer/trailer mechanic
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Ability to work full time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
