Key Responsibilities
Design and implemented individualized lesson plans tailored to students unique
learning needs and developmental levels.
Use creative strategies and sensory tools to support nonverbal and physically
expressive children, including autistic twins.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and development in
compliance with school and district policies.
Promote positive behavior support and pro-social interactions through structured
classroom management and compassionate communication.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists and family members,
to ensure holistic support for each child.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and staff development
workshops to enhance instructional practices.
Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating values of respect, integrity, and
empathy.
Support childrens emotional regulation and communication by identifying comfort
mechanisms and adapting to their needs.
Qualifications
:
Bachelors or higher from an accredited institution
Relevant teaching experiences
Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Register, Driver license and
fingerprinting as required by the program.
Compliance with health regulations for physical/mantoux testing.
Attend TCI class for certification/re-certification and passing a test upon completion
of course is a minimum requirement for employment.
