Maintain physical building and property grounds.
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Strip, seal and polish floors.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Wash all windows both inside and outside twice yearly.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Steam clean or shampoo all carpeting.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
- Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, urinals, toilet bowls and other fixtures daily.
- Fill all paper dispensers etc. paper toweling, toilet paper
- Fill all soap dispensers.
- Report any damage to school property to Director of Childcare.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas.
- Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare for school’s functions.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for building maintenance.
- To be on duty in the building when events are scheduled outside of regular school hours.
- Promote and support the environment of positive behavior support.
- Serve as a role model for students, maintaining values such as integrity, respect for self and all others, dignity, self-control and respect.
- Attend in-service training sessions, staff meetings and seminars as needed.
- Perform all other assigned duties
- Must be able to read and write English.
