What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASE AIDE-RJMCC position at SCO Family of Services?
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise sibling and/or family visits. These visits will take place on campus or in the community.
- Assist caseworkers with service referrals, home assessments, obtaining documentation such as consents and vital documents.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to children and families.
- Assist supervisor with department paperwork and scheduling.
- Schedule and accompany residents to DMV and other community appointments
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with I/DD population preferred
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Strong computer skills preferred
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Externally: interacts with NYC Administration for Children’s Services, school systems, other community-based organizations
Internally: interfaces with other team members

WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires occasional flexibility in hours to accommodate family visits, service plan reviews and crisis intervention. Agency vehicles are available for driving, subject to DMV check of caseworker’s driving record.

Responsible for meeting the stated requirements of the position.
