Our Tier 1 Automotive client is seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to join their team and support mission-critical Data Center operations. Reporting to the Head of Group IT, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the availability, security, and stability of enterprise systems across a global production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and administration of OS, software, and databases across Data Centers (Microsoft, VMware, Veeam).
• Manage storage systems (NetApp) and servers (HP).
• Oversee network and firewall operations.
• Handle full life-cycle management of Microsoft platforms.
• Maintain AV and IT security technologies.
• Support specific applications and deliver site-level IT assistance.
• Execute IT projects from planning to implementation.
• Manage Microsoft technologies: WSUS, KMS, PKI, GPOs, scripting.
• Provide expertise across a broad IT infrastructure landscape.
Requirements:
• MCSA or equivalent IT systems-related education.
• Extensive experience supporting systems in a global production environment—automotive preferred.
• Background in helpdesk operations and on-call service.
• Knowledge of software license management.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and service-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and willingness to learn new technologies.
