What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at SCK Health?
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM; 1/3 of Call
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Work in all areas of the facility.
2. Occasional exposure to variable noise, lighting, and temperature levels.
3. Possible exposure to irritating, unpleasant or hazardous elements or conditions.
4. Required to take call every third week.
5. Be able to respond to call back within 30 minutes of page from facility.
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas drivers license with no driving stipulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Working Conditions
- Will be required to work in and out of the department and during various hours.
- Employee will be required to communicate effectively with a diverse group of employees and public on a regular basis.
- Work will require attention to detail, creativity and follow through.
- Employee must be able to function independently and with little supervision.
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and bio-hazardous waste.
