Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough-in plumbing for new builds, additions, and remodels, including layout, cutting, and assembling of supply and drainage systems.
- Re-plumb existing structures, replacing outdated lines, fixtures, and components to bring systems up to code and performance standards.
- Complete bathroom and kitchen finish-outs, including the installation of faucets, vanities, showers, tubs, and toilets with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematics to ensure accurate installations and efficient workflow.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excavate, trench, and install sewer and water mains using heavy equipment or manual methods as needed.
- Pressure-test and inspect systems for leaks and compliance with building codes.
- Collaborate closely with team members, project managers, and supervisors to maintain schedule and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while representing the company professionally on every job site.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of plumbing experience in construction, renovation, or maintenance environments.
- Proven ability to handle rough-in to finish plumbing tasks independently or under supervision.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation (backhoe, excavator, or trencher) is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of plumbing codes, drainage systems, venting, and water supply layout.
- Ability to read plans and perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, bending, and working in tight spaces.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
