In this role, you will:
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies for laser systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, software, manufacturing, and industrial design teams.
- Use 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) to model parts and generate engineering drawings.
- Perform hands-on prototyping using tools, shop equipment, and 3D printers.
- Support design reviews, testing, and documentation of product development activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement of existing products.
- Research and recommend materials, components, and manufacturing methods.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records in line with company procedures.
Essential requirements for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3 years of industry experience in mechanical or product design.
- Strong interest in hands-on work—comfortable in a lab or prototyping shop.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a high level of curiosity and motivation to learn and grow.
- Bonus: Experience with laser systems, medical devices, or electromechanical assemblies.

Compensation and Benefits
