About the Position

A Supervisor is responsible for organizing and staffing designated areas, keeping track of delivery times, ensuring compliance with safety standards, instructing staff members on company and safety policies, managing discipline, and terminating personnel.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for ensuring that areas of responsibility are adequately organized and staffed
• Ensure all delivery times are accurately met
• Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all safety regulations
• Guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Coordinate with human resources to respond to employee needs, concerns or complaints
• Manage discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy
• Excellent, verbal, written and organizational skills combined with an aptitude for multi-tasking

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent education and experience
• One to three years of work experience in a supervisory role is required
• Valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States
• Must pass comprehensive background check process in compliance with federal and regulatory guidelines
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written through all levels of an internal or external organization
• Ability to motivate a diverse work force toward sustained quality and productivity
• Safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
• Ability to work in a 24 hour, 7 day a week shift environment
• Ability to read, write, speak English as necessary for safe and efficient operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer application
• Employees may be required to provide vaccination status
