Independent Barber

Job Summary:

The private club barber provides high-quality hair and beard grooming services to club members, requiring excellent customer service, barbering skills and the ability to maintain a clean and professional environment. 

Responsibilities, Essential Duties & Expectations: 

• Engage with club members to understand their grooming needs and offer personalized recommendations.
• Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to individual client preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. 
• Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage appointment schedules and ensure timely-service to all clients.
• Manage payments. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Valid barbering license in the state of Ohio and liability insurance.
• Proven experience and skills in hair cutting, styling, and facial hair grooming.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality services. 
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time. 
• The ability to manage appointments and maintain a smooth flow of services.
• Experience working in a high-end or private club environment.

Business Details:

• Independent contractor.
• No chair or rental fees.
• Flexible days available.
• Public appointments acceptable.
• Must be able to handle payments directly or member charge for Club members.
• Member charges will be paid out bi-weekly. Full payment paid directly to you, zero fees, zero commission.
