About The Position
- Clinic Hours: 8a-5p M-F
- Schedule: 36 patient care hours 4 admin; Clinic two full days, designated clinic/surgery days
- Call: 1:3, 5 days/mo built into contract opportunity to pick up additional call/pay
- Average # of patients seen per day: 20-25 patients per day (when ramped)
- Hospital-employment
- Joining 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, 1 one weekend/month)
- Bread & Butter procedures
- No robotics
- Scopes required
- Covering one hospital only with all surgeries and scopes done at the hospital
- No trauma
- Hospitalist team for admissions
Qualifications
- BE/BC in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of MS and DEA with full prescriptive authority
- Most prominent group in the area
- Rated A for Hospital Safety by The Leapfrog Group
- Recipient of The Joint Commission s Gold Seal of Approval
- Chest Pain Accredited by the American College of Cardiology
- Accredited facility for CT, Mammography and MRI by the American College of Radiology

- Compensation base salary starts at $450K DOE wRVU production incentive
