As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) at ScionHealth, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. Your expertise will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the standard of nursing care and implement hospital and nursing department policies and procedures.
- Assess patients on admission within the required time frame and make referrals to other disciplines as needed.
- Develop and update nursing care plans as necessary, ensuring coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications using the seven rights of medication administration.
- Participate in economical utilization of supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
