Registered Nurse - Advanced Skills / ICU Registered Nurse / ICU RN
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains the standard of nursing care and implements hospital and nursing department policies and procedures.
- Assesses patients on admission within the required time frame and makes referrals to other disciplines as necessary.
- Develops and updates nursing care plans for assigned patients, ensuring coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Administers medications using the seven rights of medication administration: right patient, route, time, medication, dose, reason, and documentation.
- Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care provided to patients.
- Participates in economical utilization of supplies and ensures equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Participates in orientation of new personnel and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Coordinates nursing care of patients scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
Salary Range: $49.83 - $63.20
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
