Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Procurement Analyst for a growing national services organization. This is a full-time onsite opportunity located in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to support procurement operations through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives within a collaborative and fast-paced corporate environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Procurement Analyst will support procurement and operational initiatives through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and cost optimization efforts. This individual will partner closely with procurement and finance leadership to analyze spending trends, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and improve procurement-related processes and reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, Excel-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze procurement, spend, and budgeting data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, and Excel-based reporting
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses related to purchasing decisions, vendor management, and operational initiatives
- Support procurement operations through reporting, expense tracking, and budget variance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, finance, accounting, and operations teams on strategic initiatives and process improvements
- Assist with process optimization and continuous improvement efforts across procurement operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, data analysis, and spreadsheet management
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, finance, supply chain, or operational analysis functions preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
