Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Head of Artificial Intelligence for an innovative and rapidly growing real estate finance and investment organization focused on operational excellence, technology modernization, and scalable business growth. This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in either New York, NY or Miami, FL.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This executive-level leadership role will lead enterprise AI and automation initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency, modernize workflows, and support scalable business growth across a rapidly expanding organization. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Head of Artificial Intelligence will evaluate existing business processes, identify opportunities for intelligent automation and AI-driven transformation, and develop strategic roadmaps that create measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a hands-on technology and business leader who combines strong operational insight, AI implementation experience, and the ability to drive cross-functional transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the organization’s enterprise AI and automation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Assess operational workflows, systems, and business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and intelligent automation
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership, operations, analytics, and technology teams to implement scalable AI-driven solutions
- Build strategic roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans that demonstrate measurable operational and financial impact
- Help modernize internal systems, workflows, and borrower-facing processes through AI-enabled technologies and automation initiatives
- Establish scalable AI governance standards, operational best practices, and long-term transformation frameworks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology leadership, enterprise systems, digital transformation, software engineering, operations technology, or related fields
- Minimum 4 years of experience implementing AI, automation, intelligent workflow, or operational transformation initiatives within business environments
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven ability to evaluate business operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop scalable technology-driven solutions with measurable ROI
- Hands-on experience working with AI technologies, automation platforms, enterprise systems, cloud environments, and modern business applications
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Experience operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented, or entrepreneurial environments with the ability to lead initiatives independently
