Director of Partnerships

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Partnerships for a rapidly growing international philanthropy and social impact organization focused on advancing global charitable initiatives and cross-border giving solutions. This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York City with a flexible schedule offering 1–2 remote days per week.

Position Overview

The Director of Partnerships will lead strategic partnership development and business growth initiatives focused on expanding philanthropic services, corporate engagement, and collaborative funding opportunities. This highly visible role will cultivate relationships with corporate partners, foundations, donor networks, and social impact stakeholders to strengthen organizational reach and increase revenue-generating opportunities. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial relationship builder with strong business development instincts, international perspective, and the ability to independently drive initiatives from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic partnership and business development initiatives aligned with organizational growth goals and philanthropic service offerings
• Build and expand relationships with corporations, foundations, donor networks, and sector partners to increase funding and visibility opportunities
• Grow corporate philanthropy initiatives and cultivate new partnership opportunities with mission-aligned stakeholders
• Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and industry convenings while supporting sponsorship and thought leadership initiatives
• Steward high-touch donor and partner relationships while ensuring exceptional service and long-term engagement
• Supervise partnership-related activities and collaborate cross-functionally to support operational excellence and organizational growth
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in strategic partnerships, philanthropy, donor relations, social impact, or business development environments
• Proven ability to cultivate and manage complex, high-value relationships and partnership portfolios
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and strategic thinking abilities
• International perspective, multilingual capabilities, or experience working within multicultural or globally focused environments strongly preferred
• Self-directed, highly organized, tech-savvy professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  
  

Compensation And Benefits
