Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records/Billing Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for pulling and mailing accurate patient records, verifying billing information, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Print and mail patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Review insurance claims to ensure billing accurately and promptly
- Printing and mailing claims/records to payers
- Additional duties or projects as assigned by the Revenue Cycle Director or VP
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong skills in working with computers and communication equipment
- Experience in medical billing and records management preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality
- Must be dependable and motivated
