In this pivotal role, you will independently execute complex analytical testing, interpret data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes within a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. Your expertise will support the manufacturing and quality assurance of our vital pharmaceutical offerings, helping maintain our commitment to TOP quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, KF titration, FT-IR, UV/Vis, and melting point analysis
- Extensive experience with wet chemistry, USP compendia methods, and complex chemical testing including related substances, impurities, and residual solvents
- Strong documentation skills for preparing SOPs, technical reports, and investigation documentation
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and independently solve analytical problems
- Familiarity with laboratory software such as Empower chromatography data systems and LIMS is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A demonstrated commitment to safety, cGMP, cGLP, and environmental health standards
- Experience with laboratory inventory management systems
- Prior experience training less experienced staff
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations specific to pharmaceutical labs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a scientific discipline
- 7 years relevant pharmaceutical laboratory experience
- Proven track record of working with high standards of quality and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work sedentary with occasional walking or standing
- Repetitive motion activities involving hands and wrists
- Use of personal protective equipment, including PAPR as necessary
- Physical dexterity for detailed analytical work
- Willingness to collaborate across departments and contribute to a cohesive team environment
