Senior Biomedical Field Service Technician
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: On-site, Monday – Friday (Field-Based)
Travel: 100% Local/Regional Travel by car
Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 base overtime company vehicle

About the Role
- Serve as a senior, hands-on field technician supporting biomedical equipment
- Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair at customer sites
- Act as a technical leader in the field with opportunity to grow into management
- Work independently while supporting a small team of technicians
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment
- Travel daily to hospitals, labs, and medical facilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently
- Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records
- Manage tools, parts, and company vehicle inventory
- Communicate directly with customers to coordinate service
- Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians

Training
- 1–3 month ramp-up

Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in:
- Biomedical equipment, OR
- Calibration / metrology, OR
- Electro-mechanical field service
- Strong hands-on technical ability
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred (Not Required)
- Technical degree, trade school, or engineering background
- Prior experience in hospitals or labs
- Leadership or mentoring experience

Travel Details
- Daily travel within ~2-hour radius of Virginia Beach (Richmond, NC, surrounding areas)
