- Perform calibration and service on biomedical and specialty equipment
- Work in a high-autonomy, decentralized environment
- Manage your own schedule, customers, and workload
- Perform field service, calibration, and repair
- Travel to customer sites daily
- Manage scheduling and service calls independently
- Maintain inventory and equipment in company vehicle
- Communicate with customers and internal team
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
- 6–12 month ramp-up (more complex equipment)
- Includes shadowing and gradual independence
- 1 years of relevant experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly
- Valid driver’s license
- Technical training, trade school, or engineering background
- Experience with biomedical or calibration equipment
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on and mechanically inclined
- Reliable and accountable
- Daily travel within ~2-hour radius (Austin and surrounding areas)
- No central office — fully field-based role
