Duties
- Safely operate a cargo van to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes
- NON CDL PREFERRED!
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Navigate route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Assist with moving items within warehouses or client sites as needed
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and route records to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or
driver vehicles - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Warehouse experience including heavy lifting, moving, and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus
- Ability to handle physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items safely
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
