WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
- Assist sales team with technical solution design and scope development for complex projects.
- Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure and recommend appropriate security technologies.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Validate compatibility of proposed solutions with existing systems (e.g., access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection).
- Specify hardware, software, and network requirements for integrated security systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to ensure optimal solution design.
- Stay current on product capabilities, firmware updates, and integration options.
- Review system drawings before release to customers or electrical contractors, especially for “parts and smarts” projects.
- Provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning phases.
- Assist with system configuration, programming, and troubleshooting on advanced projects.
- Validate system performance against design specifications and help establish internal standards.
- Support internal technicians and subcontractors with escalated technical issues.
- Develop and deliver training for technicians, end-users, and internal teams.
- Create and maintain documentation such as system manuals, configuration guides, and SOPs.
- Support the setup and maintenance of demo environments and training labs.
- Act as Tier 2/3 support for complex service issues.
- Assist service teams with diagnosing and resolving system faults.
- Recommend upgrades or system enhancements based on performance reviews.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
- Standardize system designs and configurations across projects.
- Participate in vendor meetings and product roadmap discussion.
- 3–7 years of experience in physical security systems engineering or applications support.
- Strong technical knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection platforms.
- Experience with enterprise-level systems (e.g., LenelS2, Feenics, Salto, CCURE, Verkada).
- Ability to interpret system drawings, specifications, and network requirements.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
