ScienCell Research Laboratories (http://www.sciencellonline.com) is a biotechnology company whose mission is the research and development of cell and cell-related products for experimental and therapeutic use. Due to the rapid expending of our business, we currently have a new opening.
Research Scientist (Cell Biology)
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to fill our Research Scientist position in our R&D department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to develop primary cell- and iPS cell-derived 3D cultures/spheroids/organoids for drug screening/cell therapy; cell-based assay development and primary cell isolation, purification, and characterization.
The successful candidate should have PhD degree in biological sciences with 1 years of relevant experience in academic or biotech/pharmaceutical industry setting or equivalent. Extensive expertise in mammalian cell culture with experience in 3D cell culture (spheroids / organoids) preferred. Extensive expertise in in vitro analytical techniques for protein detection and characterization (such as ELISA, western blot, & cell-based activity assays) is necessary. Strong communication and organization skills, especially the ability to work across multiple scientific disciplines and functions. Strong record of performance and scientific accomplishments as demonstrated by impactful contributions to the scientific community, pipeline contributions, and peer reviewed. Experience in CRISPR is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience ($90,000 - $120,000). Benefits include medical, vision, dental and life insurance coverage, retirement match plan and paid vacation.
