Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory and producting supply kits for after- school clubs, summer camps, science demonstrations, birthday parties, and other events. The Production Manager is responsible for tracking on-hand stock of frequently used materials and re-ordering.
Additionally, the Production Manager is responsible for receiving orders for materials and leading the efforts to prepare materials for packing. The Porduction Manager is responsible for the accuracy of all kits packed when compared against the supply lists.
Duties & Tasks:
Mass producing STEM kits accurately and in a timely fashion.Tracking inventory of frequently used materials.
- Managing and staffing production schedule
- Receiving the materials that were ordered and comparing against the purchase order.
- Breaking materials down into class sized bundles accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Picking up supplies from local vendors like Office Depot or Rocky Mountain Regents.
- Maintaining an orderly warehouse.
Staffing and Resource Requirement Planning
- Building and maintaining team to accomplish primary production goals.
- Hiring and superving staff
- Setting and maintaining production processes to create efficient and accurate STEM kits.
Reviewing curriculum with the Curriculum Writer.
- Managing supply lists that match to the curriculum.
- Providing feedback to the Curriculum Writer/Purchasing Manager regarding materials on hand and possible alternatives.
Administrative
- Taking notes on instructions and discussions.
- Operating computer equipment and other office equipment needed to complete these duties and tasks.
- Completing other duties and special projects as assigned.

Production Manager is part of the management team for Science Matters in Colorado and is expected to conduct themselves as a leader in the organization. Some of the skills and abilities ideal for this candidate are:

Salary : $35,000 - $50,000
