Position: After-School STEM Instructor

Job Specifics:
- This club is scheduled to run at CORNWALL ELEMENTARY3100 Iroquis Avenue Sinking Spring, PA. 19608 on TUESDAYS starting 10/21/25 and run from 3:25-4:25.
- Pay rate is $60 per lesson taught. This is a flat-rate, independent contractor position.
*Compensation rate includes reviewing the lesson, prepping supplies, instructing and after class clean up time.
Responsibilities:
As a STEM instructor, you will:
- Lead fun and engaging experiments and STEM activities for elementary-aged students.
- Create a fun, supportive environment where kids feel safe to explore and ask questions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Qualifications / Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for working with children and cultivating a love for STEM.
- Strong, clear communication skills to make complex ideas kid-friendly.
- Availability during after-school hours for club sessions.
- Previous experience with children. (teaching, tutoring, camp, childcare, etc.)
- Up-to-date state clearances/background checks. (or willingness to obtain them).
- Ability to reliably commute to the club location and carry lesson supplies.
- You must arrive 30 minutes before class and stay until clean-up is complete and the last child is picked up.
