Senior Electrical Engineer

Science, Engineering, Management Solutions, LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business located in Albuquerque, NM. The company consists of skilled scientists, engineers and technicians that specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems.

Sem-Sol is seeking an innovative Senior Electrical Engineer who can generate challenging, interesting, and dynamic solutions that take a project from conception to completion while remaining on-time and within budget. Our ideal candidate must possess the combination of expertise and character to:

Duties will include:

• Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs.
• Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Support system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
• Perform initial and ongoing design reviews.
• Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop an accurate accounting of all engineering hours required for various types of projects.

Requirement Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering
• 7 years’ project management experience
• 10 years’ experience in an engineering leadership role

Desired Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• Pulse Power experience, specifically in high powered microwave compact systems
