Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our team. We are a small, but growing company offering lawn and garden care, hardscape installations, and landscape design and installations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and horticultural tasks. Your energetic approach and technical skills will ensure our clients’ landscapes are beautiful, healthy, and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, aerating, detaching and fertilizing to keep turf healthy and vibrant
- Seeding and overseeing of lawns
- Applying mulch, compost, or garden soil to garden beds as needed
- Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with precision and care
- Operate machinery such as ride-on lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and string-trimmers
- Conduct tree and shrub pruning to promote healthy growth
- Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, laying hardscape materials, and installing new features
- Help implement plant installations.
- Ability to be flexible and multi-task when the jobs calls for it.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools is a plus
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening practices is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while working efficiently in a team environment is of utmost importance
- Reliable transportation and MA driver's license is a must
- Strong customer service skills
