Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Lighting Designer based in New York City or Miami, FL, with the flexibility to work remotely part-time. The Lighting Designer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute lighting designs for a wide variety of architectural projects. Core responsibilities include designing architectural lighting plans, specifying appropriate fixtures, integrating lighting controls, and ensuring quality through on-site adjustments and project coordination with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting
- Experience with Lighting Control systems and implementation
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visualization and technical skills to develop and present design concepts
- Excellent project management and communication skills for client and team collaboration
- Relevant experience in the architectural or design industry is highly desirable
- Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred
