What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insulation Technician position at Schwenn Bros Insulation Inc?
- Air sealing and caulking
- Loading insulation machine
- Stock service truck for daily duties
- Install insulation
- Crawl space insulation, ground cover floor installation
- Venting and installing ventilation equipment (rooftop)
- Regular use of saws and other construction tools.
- Box Truck operation (Non-CDL) Must be able to pass DOT Physical.
- Scaffolding set up and dismantle
- General maintenance of machinery
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Past experience in the installation of insulation
- Team player
- Strong work ethic and willing to work hard
- Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
- Willing and able to work in small spaces a plus
- Able to continually represent the company in a professional manner.
Year round work schedule with an average of 40 to 45 hours per week. A typical work day is from 7:00 AM to 4:00PM. Some out of state travel may be required for training.
