Position Summary
The Public Safety Officer ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and resort property. This role involves patrolling resort grounds, monitoring cameras, responding to incidents, enforcing resort policies, and assisting with emergency situations. Officers serve as a visible and approachable presence, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities
License/Certifications - Drivers License, First Aid Certification
Technical - Use computer and camera systems
Physical Capabilities - Lift 50lbs
Additional - Operate Vehicle recovery equipment
Education/Related Experience
Minimum education required - Highschool diploma or GED preferred
Minimum time in related position - At least 6 months security experience

Position Summary
The Public Safety Officer ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and resort property. This role involves patrolling resort grounds, monitoring cameras, responding to incidents, enforcing resort policies, and assisting with emergency situations. Officers serve as a visible and approachable presence, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of resort facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to deter unsafe behavior and identify potential hazards.
- Provide timely response to medical emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and other safety-related incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor guest and employee conduct to ensure compliance with resort rules, including parking regulations, noise control, and alcohol policies.
- Support evacuation protocols, weather-related safety measures, and other emergency operations, ensuring clear communication and guest assistance.
- Accurately document incidents, patrol activities, and safety concerns in detailed reports for internal use and follow-up.
- Assist guests with vehicle lockouts, bad batteries, and recovering stuck vehicles.
- Shovel snow.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide traffic control.
- Provide First Aid when needed.
- Assist guests with luggage
