Position Summary:

The Front of House Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Outback restaurant's FOH team. This role ensures smooth opening and closing procedures, staff readiness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. The FOH Lead works closely with the Outback Manager to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Open and close the restaurant following established procedures.
• Ensure all FOH staff arrive on time, in uniform, and prepared for their shifts.
• Monitor and support FOH staff throughout service to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Assist the Outback Manager in coaching and correcting FOH staff performance.
• Ensure completion of end-of-shift duties, including accurate reports and bank drops.
• Responsible for ordering FOH products and supplies. Maintain monthly inventory of FOH items and ensure proper stock levels.
• Oversee product presentation and storage, ensuring proper rotation and handling.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor service quality and cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Maintain knowledge of health codes and ensure FOH compliance.
• Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Shovel snow
• Clean outlet and assist BOH when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification and Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Certificate (training provided).

Technical - Computer skills

Physical Capabilities - Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally and up to 100lbs with assistance.

Additional - Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication, basic math

Minimum time in related position - 1 year food and beverage experience
