Personal Injury Attorney
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join team in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent litigation and negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall cases
- Conduct legal research and investigate claims to develop effective case strategies
- Gather and analyze evidence to support clients' cases
- Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and experts
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Manage cases from intake through resolution, including litigation when necessary
- Appear in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Provide clients with regular case updates and legal guidance throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission and good standing with the State Bar
- Experience handling personal injury cases
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating settlements and litigating cases
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and civil procedure
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
