Workers Compensation Paralegal (multiple positions)

Responsible for all aspects of workers' compensation case files, including document collection, filing and scheduling. Draft pleadings, affidavits, or other legal documents in compliance with NYS Workers' Compensation procedures; organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system. Assist attorneys with trial preparation by updating medicals, coordinate hearings and medical appointments. Meet with clients and other professionals to discuss details of case. Draft and file legal forms and documents. Manage attorneys' calendars and schedule meetings. Request, review, and summarize relevant records. Req'd: 24 months experience as a paralegal.
