Schwartz & Posnock are experienced New Jersey attorneys with over 40 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation, subrogation lawsuits to recover Worker's Compensation and propterty damage proceeds for municipal entities, and defense of municipalities in civil rights cases. We also have a criminal defense practice. The firm is based in Eatontown, NJ.
Role Description
This is a part-time Litigation Paralegal position. We anticipate that most work will be conducted remotely, but at the outset, and depending on the assignment, occasional on-site work may be necessary at our Eatontown, New Jersey office. The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with daily tasks such as preparing legal documents, preparing discovery, reviewing legal documents, and drafting pleadings and motions. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting the litigation process.
Qualifications
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
- Proficiency in drafting Pleadings and Motions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal studies qualification is preferred
- Prior work experience in litigation is highly desirable
