Harvard, IL based Custom Car /Chassis Manufacturing shop with a global customer base is seeking an Experienced Custom Car Builder / Mechanic. This is not an entry level position. Looking for enthusiastic, detail oriented, positive attitude person to join our winning team and have some fun with us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Custom fabrication and modification of muscle cars and hot rods
- Engine swaps and chassis installation
- Welding, cutting, and machining for car builds
- Diagnosing and solving complex mechanical issues
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Familiarity with old school and modern drivetrains
- Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a custom car builder, muscle car specialist, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of muscle car engines, electrical systems, and chassis
- Proficient in welding, fabrication, and custom modifications
- Experience with classic and modern performance vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Must have own tools. This is a full time position. Plus Overtime, Top pay for right individual. Email resume including previous salary/wage history.
