As the Senior Plant Financial Controller for the world’s largest pizza manufacturing campus, in Salina, KS, you will lead all financial control and reporting functions to ensure assets are managed efficiently and profitably. As a core partner on the plant leadership team, you will deliver critical analysis, guide decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. You will ensure accurate, timely reporting in full compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the plant accounting team; ensure accurate financial records and strong reporting discipline.
- Strengthen accounting and performance reporting systems to identify variances and drive timely corrective action.
- Provide financial insights to improve performance, reduce unit costs, and enhance cost control across materials, labor, and overhead.
- Support capital planning, including financial evaluations and post-implementation reviews.
- Deliver timely operational reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Design and enhance financial controls, management reporting, and business planning processes.
- Partner with corporate finance on cost analysis, improvement initiatives, and best-practice sharing.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and asset stewardship requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; CPA/CMA/CIA preferred.
- 7 years of relevant finance or plant accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and advanced tools (e.g., SAP BW).
- Skilled in variance analysis, financial ratios, and trend detection.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; able to influence and guide decision-makers.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $104,625 to $174,375 annually with eligibility for a 20% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Years of Related Experience: Typically has a minimum of 7 to 9 years related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate proficiency in the use of a personal computer including Windows and theMicrosoft Office Suite; numeric analytic techniques; proficiency in the use of integrated MRP accounting andreporting systems; advanced analytical skills & tools (e.g., SAP BW). Advance ability to detect trends.Intermediate skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysis. A thorough understanding ofgeneral accounting principles and accepted standards. The ability to meet project deadlines. The ability toprioritize tasks. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to effectively presentfinancial data to a variety of audiences. The ability to work effectively and cooperatively within teams. Leadershipattributes, self motivated, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to makerecommendations and influence targeted audience. Ability to successfully leverage internal and external resources.Effective communication skills. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
