Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our busy team. In this role, you will be responsible for reconditioning used vehicles to meet our high standards of quality, ensuring they are ready for sale. Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections of used vehicles to assess reconditioning needs.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
• Conduct light mechanical repairs, such as brake work, tire rotations, tire replacements and basic engine diagnostics...
• Identify and report any significant mechanical or safety issues to the Service Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Some mechanical experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician or reconditioning technician.
• ASE certifications would be a plus
• Formal automotive training or education
